I share this fault so that workshops that need it can find it and save time on troubleshooting.
The customer complains that sometimes the climate suddenly does not cool down and then works again, or for the whole day it does not cool down any more.
We charged the R134A system with no abnormalities but no improvements either, no errors in diagnosis.
We switched to parameter monitoring and solved the problem.
We monitored the various temperatures and at one point there was a temperature drop on the evaporator.
I removed the defrost ntc probe and heated it up with a lighter and the climate started working again.
Replaced the probe now the car is OK.
I enclose a few pictures and ask colleagues to find a few minutes every now and then to share some solved, not just unsolved, faults, so that we can help each other and be not just a workshop but a Great Workshop!
