Hi I have a 2014 bravo 1.6 mjet 88kw 198a2000 with edc17 control unit (last series), which was brought to me because the engine would start but would shut down immediately afterwards, the car after being brought to me in the workshop managed to start (without any operation in particular), after a diagnosis with no errors detected, on the test lap the car in first gear and at a standstill manages to rev up well, as soon as second gear is engaged and the gears to follow the accelerator no longer responds and the engine drops to 1500 rpm (does not tend to shut down)<\/p>\n
the diagnosis does not help unfortunately, at a standstill it accelerates well and the parameters seem ok, I remember a colleague who on a delta 1.6 had a similar case after a service (I remember the 1500 rpm detail) and it was resolved at fiat with a software update of the engine control.<\/p>\n
Is it possible to check for updates for this particular issue?<\/p>\n
