As many of you have already experienced, it can happen from time to time on FCA cars that the odometer in the instrument cluster starts flashing and the Bluetooth stops working.<\/p>\n
This type of fault is caused by the loss of memory of the Bluetooth control unit (also known as Convergence) or in some cases its internal damage, and as the most obvious consequence to the customer, the odometer starts flashing.<\/p>\n
Often the origin of the fault can be traced back to a battery disconnection\/reattachment.<\/p>\n
In fact, when this anomaly occurs, the advice we give, before changing such a control unit, is to try to perform the proxi alignment with your instrument and see how effective it is. Sometimes this operation alone is enough to solve the problem. If, on the other hand, this does not resolve the problem, it will be necessary to replace the damaged Bluetooth control unit and then re-perform the proxi alignment.<\/p>\n
