Good morning,<\/p>\n

Today we present a case reported by the workshop Pozzati Alberto, who later informed us that the problem has been resolved:<\/p>\n

2016 Suzuki Vitara 4\u00d74 1.6 DDIS 88 Kw (120 hp).<\/p>\n

On the road travelling constantly at 100-120 km\/h, the engine fault light came on, the error was detected in the diagnosis: P1541 solenoid valve variable flow oil pump. When the problem occurred, the low oil pressure light did not come on.<\/p>\n

The colleague had already replaced the VDOP oil flow control solenoid valve on the pump, the engine oil and the filter, but the problem persisted; the wiring did not show any anomalies.<\/p>\n

Given what had already been carried out and also the type of engine, which is the well-known 1.6 Multijet, the diagnosis was diverted to the oil pressure sensors, in particular to a possible high-pressure sensor starvation (grey in colour, the low-pressure sensor is black) given also the conditions in which the defect was manifesting itself.<\/p>\n

After further checks of the sensor wiring, the colleague replaced the sensor, which was the solution to the problem.<\/p>\n
