We inform you that for the production of the new Euro6D diesel engines, new<\/p>\n
software calibrations of the engine control unit.<\/p>\n
Specific calibrations for rear-wheel drive (RWD) versions were<\/p>\n
optimised to work with less engine oil.<\/p>\n
After a targeted series of tests, Alfa Romeo decided to unify the maximum engine oil quantities<\/p>\n
for all Diesel Euro 6 engines fitted to Alfa Romeo Giulia RWD as shown in Table 1.<\/p>\n
This translates into benefits both for customers (lower cost of oil changes) and for the<\/p>\n
workshops (simplification of activities).<\/p>\n
