{"id":7720,"date":"2019-11-14T14:42:56","date_gmt":"2019-11-14T13:42:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/citroen-c4-picasso-1600-benzina-non-rende-spia-mil-on\/"},"modified":"2019-11-14T15:30:16","modified_gmt":"2019-11-14T14:30:16","slug":"citroen-c4-picasso-1600-petrol-no-return-spy-mil-on","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/en\/citroen-c4-picasso-1600-petrol-no-return-spy-mil-on\/","title":{"rendered":"CITRO\u00cbN C4 Picasso 1600 petrol does not render mil On warning light"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>good morning<\/p>\n<p>Today we present the solved case of a CITRO\u00cbN C4 Picasso 1600 petrol car.<\/p>\n<p>The engine does not yield and the Mil engine fault light comes on.<\/p>\n<p>In the engine management ecu we read :<\/p>\n<p>ERROR P0033 FAULT EASY TURBINE EXHAUST CONTROL<\/p>\n<p>this error code initially led us to think of a problem with the turbo compressor but later<\/p>\n<p>After some verifications, we identified the translation of the error code in the DUMP VALVE, which in practice is referred to as the Pop Off valve for relieving overpressure.<\/p>\n<p>This valve has the task of limiting the pressure in order to preserve the turbo impeller during release phases and abrupt engine acceleration.<\/p>\n<p>The valve is supplied with 1 connector with wires, one for the On \/ Off control of the valve and the other a 12 volt.<\/p>\n<p>We found this dump valve connection was loose. The connector was hooked up correctly as per the manual.
