In detail, we deal with the case of 1.3, 1.6 and 2.0 Mjet engines; if these errors occur, proceed as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Error P2563 Diagnosis VGT position tracking<\/p>\n<p>Error P0238 Positive turbocharger drive drift (low pressure) - Signal calculation error<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7129 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Panda-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Panda-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Panda-704x528.jpg 704w, https:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Panda.jpg 714w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Vacuum gauge test<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Disconnect the tubing from the VGT actuator capsule ;<\/li>\n<li>Check for deformation, bending, damage to the rod, linkages or loosening of calibration nuts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>IF THE VARIABLE GEOMETRY ROD DOES NOT MOVE, THE TURBO IS DAMAGED.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7130 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Giulietta-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Giulietta-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Giulietta-768x510.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Giulietta-332x220.jpg 332w, https:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Giulietta-704x468.jpg 704w, https:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Giulietta.jpg 828w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the absence of a vacuum gauge, carry out the tests listed below:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Checking the vacuum air circuit: measure the vacuum value before and after the vacuum reservoir and check for abnormal constrictions and kinks in the piping.<\/li>\n<li>Checking the pressurised air circuit: make sure that the sleeves are properly secured and that the clamps are not loose, disassemble the sleeves, check for notches, cracks and report any breaks.<\/li>\n<li>Dismantle the vacuum reservoir with its piping and ensure that there are no cracks\/holes\/cuts that could in any way create an air leak.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Check whether the tubing that connects the depressor's secondary connector to the vacuum reservoir is deformed and whether there is oil in it; if so, replace the depressor and the vacuum tubing kit and vacuum reservoir. If no abnormality is found, proceed with the vacuum reservoir leak test by immersing it in water.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Carry out an active diagnosis of the pierburg solenoid valve and check that it is operating correctly.<\/li>\n<li>Connect the vacuum gauge to the nozzle of the vgt, creating a vacuum with the instrument: check whether the dipstick moves or remains stationary.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>With the hope of having given you useful information, on behalf of the Help Desk team I thank you and wish you good work<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6936 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.checkstar-techblog.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/firma-300x72.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"96\" \/><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good morning, today we present some useful checks in case of anomalies on the Fiat group's variable geometry turbo.
