Toyota<\/strong>a few years ago, introduced the 'timing belt replacement warning light<\/strong>\"A true maintenance indicator dedicated to the timing belt.<\/p>\n

The reset procedure<\/strong> of the timing belt replacement indicator is very similar to the procedure used to reset the service interval indicator.<\/p>\n

Below you will find the reset procedure for Toyota Landcruiser 3.0 D4-D.<\/p>\n

Procedure:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0<\/strong>Switch on the ignition.<\/p>\n

2. Press the A\u00a0<\/strong>until 'TRIP B' is displayed\u00a0B <\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Switch off the ignition.<\/p>\n

4. Press and hold the button.<\/p>\n

5. Switch on the ignition.<\/p>\n

6. The message 'RESETTING T-BELT MAINTENANCE DATA' will be displayed.\"\"<\/p>\n

7. Press and hold the button A<\/strong>\u00a0for about 5 seconds until the message 'RESETTING OF T-BELT MAINTENANCE DATA NOW POSSIBLE' is displayed.<\/p>\n

8. Release the button A<\/strong>\u00a0and press it again within 5 seconds.<\/p>\n

9. The message '15' will be displayed B. <\/strong><\/p>\n

10. Within 5 seconds: Turn the button C<\/strong>\u00a0to set the remaining mileage until the next timing belt change.<\/p>\n

11. Press and hold the A\u00a0<\/strong>for about 5 seconds until the message 'RESETTING OF T-BELT MAINTENANCE DATA COMPLETE' is briefly displayed.<\/p>\n

12. Switch off the ignition.<\/p>\n
