Thanks to the study carried out again this year by the Autopromotec Observatory, it emerges that in 2016 the total cost of maintenance in Italy is 29.5 billion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Expenditure increased by 3.9% compared to the year 2015, a trend that has been positive for three years now, after the drastic drop in 2012, where maintenance costs had fallen by -10.5% compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n

Although they may seem contradictory, both the ageing and the increase in the number of vehicles on the road (+1.4% compared to 2015), as well as the number of maintenance operations (+1.3%) per workshop, have contributed to this growth, denoting a greater sensitivity on the part of motorists to safeguarding their cars.<\/p>\n

The adoption of more advanced tools and technologies has also contributed to the trend in the car repair sector. On the one hand, this has led to an increase in the price of work, and on the other hand it has prompted a constant renewal of workshop equipment. This is also thanks to the so-called super depreciation of 140%<\/u>\u00a0which means a cost deductible on tax depreciation, which below certain figures can be deducted from income in one lump sum.<\/p>\n

These topics will be explored in depth during the 2017 edition of Autopromotec, scheduled from 24 to 28 May in the halls of the Bologna Exhibition Centre. The event, which will dedicate ample exhibition space to the equipment and after market sector, will see us present in Hall 21\/B35.<\/p>\n
