But the light did not go out.<\/p>\n<p>I suggested opening the engine bonnet and looking for the wiring harness located near the engine bonnet lock.<\/p>\n<p>I made a jumper between the 2 pins of the connector that signals the bonnet to close properly. Then I turned the key on gear for about 10 seconds . After that the light went out. Switched the ignition off i.e. key to OFF and finally removed the jumper and closed the bonnet.
