I would like to point out a very interesting case concerning the car in question.<\/p>\n
The car was taken to the workshop because the service key appeared in the display and in the panel with the message oil topping up.<\/p>\n
After checking the engine oil level, we realised that the level was low.<\/p>\n
Oil was topped up to the correct engine oil level when the engine was cold.<\/p>\n
The car was started but although the oil level was correct\u00a0<\/p>\n
the display and ignition did NOT reset and the service key with the message oil topping up was still present.<\/p>\n
We then suggested handing the car over to the owner and telling him that :<\/p>\n
\u00a0\" THE SYSTEM RESETS ITSELF AFTER A FEW DAYS OF TRAVELLING. \"<\/p>\n
In fact, what was suggested occurred and the problem was solved, i.e. all 'warnings and alarms' in the panel and display went off.<\/p>\n
Conclusion: if the engine oil level is OK, you can hand over the car.<\/p>\n
