Since the TPMS is not yet indicated, I enclose a procedure found on the WEB for adapting TPMS valves in the event of (replacement\/inflation) on a Renault Captur vehicle.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/td>\n		When the vehicle is equipped, this system warns of loss of pressure in one or more tyres while driving.<\/span><\/span>Operating principle<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Each wheel (except the spare) has a sensor inserted in the inflation valve that measures the tyre pressure at regular intervals while driving.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Spy\u00a0<\/span>\ue047<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>1<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0remains permanently lit to warn the driver if the pressure is below the reference pressure.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Reset tyre pressure reference value<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This must be done:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

- when the tyre reference pressure needs to be changed to suit the conditions of use (empty, under load, motorway driving, etc.);<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

- after a tyre rotation;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

- after changing a wheel.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This should always be done after a cold inflation pressure check of the four tyres.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The inflation pressure must correspond to the current use of the vehicle (empty, loaded, motorway driving, etc.).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Engine off:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

- make short presses on one of the buttons <\/span><\/span>3<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0o <\/span><\/span>4<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0to select the 'tyre pressure' function in the display <\/span><\/span>2<\/span><\/strong>;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

- exert long pressure (approx. 3 seconds) on one of the buttons <\/span><\/span>3<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0o <\/span><\/span>4<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0to start initialisation. The message \"REF PRESSURE RUNNING\" appears on the display <\/span><\/span>2<\/span><\/strong>. When the message 'Acquiring tyre pressure' appears on the display <\/span>2<\/span><\/strong>the reference tyre pressure is recorded.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Note<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The reference pressure value may not be lower than the one recommended and indicated on the side of the door.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Display<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The display <\/span><\/span>2<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0The instrument panel indicates any inflation anomalies (flat tyre, punctured tyre...).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ADJUST TYRE PRESSURE<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Spy\u00a0<\/span>\ue047<\/span>\u00a0remains permanently lit accompanied by the message \"ADJUST TYRE PRESSURE\". They indicate that at least one wheel is deflated.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Readjust the pressure, when cold, as required. While driving, the indicator light<\/span>\ue047<\/span>\u00a0goes off after a few minutes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

DRILLING<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Spy\u00a0<\/span>\ue047<\/span>\u00a0remains permanently lit accompanied by the message 'DRILLING'.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This message indicates that at least one of the wheels is punctured or badly deflated. Replace it or contact the brand's network if it is punctured. Re-inflate the tyre if it is deflated.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This message is accompanied by the light\u00a0<\/span>\u00ae<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

TYRE SENSORS CHECK<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Spy\u00a0<\/span>\ue047<\/span>\u00a0flashes for a few seconds, then remains permanently lit, accompanied by the message 'TYRE SENSORS CHECK'.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This message indicates a sensor failure or the absence of the sensor on at least one of the wheels (which is the case, for example, when mounting the spare wheel).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This message is accompanied by the light\u00a0<\/span>\u00a9<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Unless this message appears after the spare wheel has been fitted, please contact a brand representative.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

New tyre pressure adjustment<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Pressures must be adjusted cold<\/b>\u00a0(please refer to the label on the side of the driver's door).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If the pressure check cannot be carried out on tyres\u00a0colds<\/b>, an increase in the pressure of\u00a00,2<\/b>–0,3<\/b>\u00a0bar (3\u00a0<\/b>PSI).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Never deflate a hot tyre.<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Replacing wheels\/tyres<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The system requires the use of specific equipment (wheels, tyres, wheel cups...).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Contact a brand representative for tyre replacement and to find out which accessories are compatible with the system and available in the brand's network: the use of any other accessories could jeopardise the correct functioning of the system.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Spare wheel<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When the vehicle is equipped, the spare wheel has no sensors. When it is fitted on the vehicle, the message \"TYRE SENSORS CHECK\" appears on the instrument panel.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
