Good morning to all\u0259,<\/p>\n

We have recently had a few reports of Engine Oil Reset not resetting the warning light or the indication on the Giulia display.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Often this anomaly is caused by the operator performing a reset before the oil change.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The correct procedure is as follows:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. For cars that do not have a graduated dipstick but have an electronic level control system (e.g. Giulia MY18, Stelvio MY18 and DUCATO IV (290));<\/li>\n
  2. Carry out an oil change;<\/li>\n
  3. Install the oil filler cap, warm up the engine until at least 4 oil temperature markings are reached on the car's instrument panel (oil temperature greater than or equal to 93 \u00b0C), switch off the engine and wait at least 5 minutes to ensure that the oil sump is completely filled;<\/li>\n
  4. Perform the Engine Oil Reset with the OK Function SERVICE RESET GENERAL (SGW), this function will simultaneously reset the km and oil quality.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
